Hence besides educationing regular assessment is an integral part of the curriculum. Pathsala Public School , Pathsala has brought about revolutionary changes in its Assessment Pattern to keep it abreast with the new pattern introduced by CBSE from the current academic session 2019-20.
Classes Nursery- Senior KG:
- Academic session is divided into three terms.
- Each term has single assessment.
- Grade is awarded instead of marks.
- Some areas of developments are informally assess.
- Extra curricular activities are marked on the basis of overall developments.
Class One – Three:
Regular assessment of scholastic and Co-scholastic domains
Class One to Five:
- Entire session is divided into two terms.
- Each term will have periodic test as well as half yearly (Term-I) and Annual (Term-II) examinations.
- 50% of syllabus will be assessed in each term.

These are subject specific activities aimed at enhancing the understanding and skill of the students. These activities will be carried out throughout the term, however, they will be evaluated at the term end.

- ART EDUCATION : Visual and Performing Art
- HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Sports/Yoga/MPT etc.
DISCIPLINE:
The students will also be accessed for the discipline which will be based on the factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, value and tidiness, restfulness for rules and regulations, attitude towards society, nation and others. Grading on discipline will be done on a three point grading scale (A- Outstanding, B-Very Good and C- Fair)
