The Annual Report of the school for the session 2020-21:

  1. We are proud to report that 2020-21 batch of Class X have brought laurels to the school by their excellent results. We achieved 100% results. In CBSE class X examination, 100% students secured 1st
  • Mrinmay Dev Sarma with 96.3% stood on the top. Two students secured perfect 100% marks in Assamese.
  • Further to create competitive mindset, Olympiads in various subjects are conducted throughout the year and talent Search Examinations are organized by reputed organizations.
  1. In session 2021-22 batch of 10th standard students shine like stars with their Term I performance which was held on last of November 2021. 100% students secured 1st class and one of our students secured 99% in theory examination. Students secured perfect 100% in various subjects.
  • All this is possible due to the hardwork and dedication of our experienced teachers. I am pleased to bring it into record that they all are dedicated to their institution which is very commendable. We owe our gratitude to them.

Teacher’s Training Programme

Teacher’s training programme aims to build competencies among all the teachers and also create awareness towards current issues like women empowerment, educating a girl child, awareness on the eradication of casteism, equal civic rights among all individuals, and so on.

Apart from these, training sessions are held at regular intervals to improve their educational skills, improve time management skills, improve technical knowledge and learn better ways to motivate the students. These sessions encourage teachers to talk about what makes good pedagogical practice. These sessions help the teachers in developing a common vocabulary to enable them to converse across all the sectors. All these skills help the teachers in making the students more clear with the concepts. Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially in the field of education.

Medical Programme

Our School has a well-equipped and well furnished Medical Room, which is accessible to all the students and the staff during school hours. Health camps are organized to conduct health checkups and a detailed record is maintained along with the valuable suggestion of the doctors. Awareness is spread among the students to develop immunity.

A comprehensive online training program is being organized for school staff nurses and counselors or wellness teachers in view of the new challenges faced during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  • Covid 19 vaccine has been provided to all the teaching as well as non-teaching staff before reopening of school.
  • Along with this, the students of class IX and X have been provided Covid 19 vaccine through medical camps organized in school.
  • As a security measure regular sanitization of the school is done along with regular hand sanitization at the school gate.

Co-curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities are an integral part of establishing a culture of excellence, personalization, and support for the whole child that extends beyond the classroom. Participation in co-curricular activities also has the benefits of improving student’s outcomes including attendance, participation in class, sense of self efficacy and academic performance.

We maintain a balance between co-curricular activities and academics. We conduct regular co-curricular activities for the overall development of the students.

Different co-curricular activities conducted by our school:

  1. Academic Related Co-curricular Activities:

Present Education Policy is a Child Centered Education Policy. We try our level best to provide perfect education through an interesting method. For which we conduct the following academic co-curricular activities to enrich student’s all round development:

  • Book Clubs
  • School Magazine Editor
  • Poetry Recitation
  • Story Writing
  • Debates etc.
  1. Leisure Related Co-curricular Activities:

We also encourage our children to participate in some leisure related activities such as Model Making, Stamp Collection, Gardening etc. Such kind of activities helps a child to keep his/her mind healthy and sound.

  • Physical Activities:

To encourage Team Spirit and to ensure physical fitness, sports are given special importance in the curriculum. For such activities, we conduct both indoor and outdoor games for the benefits of students.

We also put importance in Mass Drill. We have special classes for Mass Drill twice a week.

Besides this, we encourage our students to take part in Yoga. Yoga is one of the most fruitful activities that helps a child in developing his/her overall performance.

Many of our students have participated in District and State level  sports and Yoga competition and have come back with flying colours.

  1. Cultural Activities:

We organize Annual Function every year to encourage our children in cultural activities. Students take part in different activities there such as Solo sing and Dance, Group Dance, Drama etc. besides Annual Function, we also conduct House wise cultural activities on every first and third Saturday of the week.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to commemorate 75 glorious years of progressive in India and its rich history, diverse population, magnificent culture and great achievements.

In this regard, our school has conducted an Essay Writing Competition on “The Legendary Warrior of Assam: Lachit Borphukan”. Besides this, our school takes part in the March Pass Competition on Independence Day and Republic Day.

Sports Achievements:

Sports keep society fit and healthy while building strong communities in boosting morale. In this modern world of I-phones and laptops, the importance of sports is more relevant than ever.

From health and happiness to education and society, sports matter. Promoting sports, inspiring young athlete and increasing healthy competition will help individual and communities to flourish.

Sports improve social skill, improve problem solving skills and instill core values which are very essential for building a healthy child.

One of our students Kaberi Sarma, won Bronze Medal in State Level Running race Competition. We all feel proud about it.

Every week we conduct physical exercise class where they do different asanas which help in their physical as well as mental growth. This year, we conduct Annual Sports in different activities like Running Race, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, Badminton, Discus Throw etc. Students participated enthusiastically and won medals.

Due to the dedicated effort of our teachers, Annual sports 2021-22 became a successful event where many students participated and won medals.

PTM

PTM is a great interaction between the teacher and the parents for the progress of their children where they discuss both the strengths and areas of advancement. We show progress report card to the parents and their suggestions are noted. Any sign of a child failing to make progress, regardless of where they are in the lower, middle or higher range is questioned and addressed.
